And the animal in my chest says—
“No, please, he can fix this. He can fix this.” 
But the camera in my head has already 
seen all that it needs
It knows
there is no coming back from this.
He was evicted a month ago
And yet I am still holding onto an expired lease

But eventually, I will move out too.
I won’t have kept any of the photographs.
