I'm Moving!

Dear beautiful reader,

My apologies for the clickbait, but I’m moving… this newsletter to Substack!

Next month, on November 1, it will be the three year anniversary of To Be Seen & Safe! I can’t believe it. When I first set out to start a creative writing newsletter, I spent a lot of time going back and forth on which platform to go with. Substack seemed like an obvious first choice— even my manager at the time recommended it— but ultimately, as a novice writer, I knew I wanted to write about very intimate, vulnerable subject matter and therefore, preferred a more discreet platform. (Plus, visually, Beehiiv is just so much prettier!)

I was actually terrified of my writing “going viral,” because I wasn’t even sure if I was comfortable with what I was writing yet.

But after having poured my soul out for three years to you all, I feel ready to plant this ever-growing beauty in a bigger pot. Hence, we’re moving to Substack!

I’ve already imported all my old posts there (and many of your emails!), but it would mean the world to me if you’d come long and subscribe! Since the smallest denomination of premium membership is $5 (not $1) over there, I will be writing more free posts as well.
